We've been experiencing a few technical glitches and hope to get everything up and running soon.
In the meantime, here's a little basic information about Cheeky Pup and what we offer to the residents of the Western Suburbs of Sydney, NSW
- Pet dog obedience training and behaviour modification - starts with 1 x 2 hour session plus after support - $120 +GST;
- Aggressive dog re-training - minimum 6 x 30 min sessions plus after support - from $300 +GST
- Puppy training (includes toilet training) - starts with 2 x 1 hour sessions plus after support - $120 +GST
Little dogs and rescue dogs are our speciality, but we are happy to train all breeds and cross breeds regardless of size and energy levels.
We also train other domestic animals including cats, parrots, and rabbits.
All training sessions including advice on feeding, grooming, living arrangements, health, parasite control, and exercise for your pet. If you have more than 1 pet information can also be provided to help you care for them at no extra charge.
All training is provided at your home because we believe this is where your pet is most at ease and more able to learn quickly. Sessions are available Monday to Thursday and Saturday.
Our training style is based on positive reinforcement using a clicker or vocal marker to let your pet know when its doing something right. We will occassionally use punishment but this would never be anything harsher than briefly removing a reward from your dog if it stops doing as asked but giving it back as soon as it does the right thing again (for eg, we ask it to sit, it sits, you hand it the reward and your dog jumps up to take it so we quickly move the reward away and wait for your pup to sit back down and then we give them the reward while they are still sitting). The same applies to aggressive dogs - we will never man-handle or physically force your dog to do something.
The only equipment you will need includes a standard flat collar and a leash for your dog or cat, and a leash and harness for other little furry critters. Oh, and your pet's favourite toy or a bag of something they really love to eat to use as rewards for a job well done.

We also support the adoption of animals from pounds and animal shelters, and offer a 15% discount for animals adopted within 3 months of a booked consultation (proof required).
