28 June 2009 - Blacktown Pet Festival held at Blacktown Pound on the Great Western Highway. Free microchipping for pets belonging to Blacktown residents; dogs and cats available to adopt on the day; bring your friendly dog along and enjoy the fun!
17 August 2009 - RSPCA Cupcake Day! Look out for stands in your area selling cupcakes on and around 17 August. All monies go directly to the RSPCA as volunteers give their time, cooking skills and ingredients to the cause. All volunteers should be wearing a 'cupcake cook' badge to verify their official involvment.
20 September 2009 - Holroyd Council's Pet Fest.
30 October to 1 November 2009 - World Dog Games + Dog Fest to be held at Acer Arena. See dogs compete in agility, flyball, frisbee and dock diving competitions during this 3 day extravaganza. I'll put up a link to more info once its available. |

Canine Kindy - a 6 week course for juvenile dogs up to 18 months old. It's a preschool type course with a few special additional problem busters for older dogs! Rooty Hill only. Next course starts 5 July.

Pooch Primary Jnr - a 6 week course for dogs over 6 months old that builds on basic obedience training. If your dog already knows sit, drop, come and stay (or extended drop), and walks reasonably well on leash, this is the course you've been looking for. Starts starts 5 July at 11am.

Briefly, Cheeky Pup provides training for dogs, puppies and other other pets includings cats, rabbits, parrots and cavies/guinea pigs. But as qualified animal trainers, if your pet is a little out of the ordinary we can figure out a way to train your little buddy too. For more detailed information on training, please click on the "Training Services & Classes" option in the menu on the left side of this page.
Little dogs and rescue dogs are our speciality, but we train train all breeds and cross breeds regardless of age, size and energy levels. Teddy the Cheeky Pup pup also has a special place in his heart for dogs with special needs and has asked me to let you know that if your dog has a disability (including deafness) or ongoing medical condition he or she can still enjoy training in obedience, tricks or games and we can prepare a special training program for you to carry out at home.
